Darwin Mariano, a former producer of original Filipino musicals and plays, is currently the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Ticket2Me, the country’s most innovative ticketing platform that was recently launched on Thursday, August 9 at Sentro 1771 in Capitol Commons.
Mariano in his forays in theater production, he has encountered frustrations in the existing ticketing platforms. According to him, it is the reason why he thought of building Ticket2Me and is anchored in creating value by bringing people together seamlessly.
As a service, it seeks to provide ticket buyers and sellers a new, more convenient way to transact online.
It is the first blockchain-enabled ticketing platform in Southeast Asia that allows anyone to buy tickets anytime, anywhere.
How does Ticket2Me work and how it is more favorable to use as opposed to existing ticketing platforms in the country?
- Once a ticket is purchased through the website or mobile app, event-goers will receive an electronic version of the ticket via email. It eliminates the risk of losing or damaging a physical (paper) ticket.
- Producers using only their mobile phones; they can get real-time, on-site ticket verification capabilities through their Ticket2Me mobile app. It can be used to easily scan the event-goer’s ticket to facilitate entry to the venue.
Benefits of using Ticket2Me:
- Ticket buyers will no longer go through the bureaucratic way of purchasing tickets. It is a streamlined, but a secure process that ensure queues are already eliminated.
- Producers are able to do away with too much trouble in collecting ticket stub stubs, manage their guest list as well as ticket sales accounting since the platform provides an online event management dashboard with complete audience analytics. It enables organizers to study and understand their intended audiences better for future references and formulation of sales and marketing strategies.
It’s high-time to switch and give this new ticketing platform a chance to have a better way of buying and selling tickets in the future.
