Dubbed as the country’s ‘Dance Princess’ Maja Salvador had a successful ‘Maja On Stage’ concert at Kia Theater in Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City on Friday, March 23. She was joined by her former co-stars in her previous series TV series on ABS-CBN Kapamilya Network.
Described as a show-stopper since the audiences went wild when Salvador’s three-equally Adonis-like leading men in ‘Wildflower’—RK Bagatsing, Vin Abrenica and Joseph Marco had a special number with the ‘Dance Princess’. Also, Paulo Avelino, Maja’s former leading man in the 2015 romance-melodrama-suspense series ‘Bridges of Love’ and in the 2017 romantic-comedy flick ‘I’m Drunk, I Love You’ appeared in the tail-end of her dance number and eventually serenaded her with a song.
Other highlights of the show are the guest appearance of Maymay Entrata, the big winner of PBB: Lucky Season 7 and had a duet with Salvador and scene-stealers were that of Salvador’s showdown with Kakai Bautista and Pooh; as it provided comic-relief and a revelation of sorts.
Maja showcased her usual mettle in dance as she performed with three Hashtag members. She also sang her hit song ‘Dahan-dahan’ from her 2014 album titled ‘Believe’.
The Kia concert was her latest after having a series of shows—the ‘Maja Live in Cebu’ on February 4, #MajaOnStage dance concert in Singapore on February 18, shows in Oklahoma and Las Vegas on February 23 and February 25, respectively.
Apart from acting and dancing, being a versatile artist, she recently collaborated with Thailand’s most adored pop singer-pianist ToR + Saksit and launched their single ‘Falling into You’ in February this year as well.
‘Maja On Stage’ was directed by Johnny Manahan and was produced by Four Lights Production.
