Dubbed as the ‘Fight of Champions’, its press conference was held at the Grand Ballroom of City of Dreams, Manila; and gave the  press and fans a glimpse of what the fighters have in store for today’s event. In attendance were VP of ONE Championship Rich Franklin, and the athletes, Eduard Folayang, Martin Nguyen, Adriano Moraes, Danny Kingad, Kevin Belingon and Kevin Chung.

What makes this fight worth watching is both athletes for the main event have their own championship belts. Eduard ‘The Landslide’ Folayang of the legendary Team Lakay in Baguio City is one of the Philippines’ most experienced Martial artists. He is the reigning ONE Lightweight World Champion and will defend his title in a cross-divisional showdown.

Martin ‘The Situ-Asian’ Nguyen is from Sydney, Australia and is no pushover as he is the reigning ONE Featherweight World Champion. He is not intimidated with his opponent being a highly-skilled finisher and one of the most talented featherweights in Martial arts.

They may be friends but once they step inside the ring, it’s about a Martial artist competing against each other. This is a night to remember since spectators are going to witness the two explosive fighters giving their ‘bests’.

Another fight that promises to deliver the blows is between Adriano Moraes and Danny Kingad. Adriano ‘Black Diamond’ Moraes of Brazil takes the center stage as the undisputed ONE Flyweight World Champion with his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black-belt, showing off his well-rounded striking and grappling skills. He is set to defend his title against the country’s homegrown fighter.

Danny ‘The King’ Kingad is a regional wushu champion and martial artist and is the undefeated flyweight from Team Lakay. A tremendous striker who has varied grappling skills as well, Kingad is focused on bringing home a victory.

Two Kevins will put their Martial arts skills to the test as they battle it out for the ONE Bantamweight World Champion belt today. Kevin ‘The Silencer’ Belingon of the famed Team Lakay in Baguio City, Philippines will face Kevin ‘Old Boy’ Chung, a South Korean Martial artist, born and raised in the U.S. This exciting competitor will bring his game to the table against the feared striker, Belingon.
